Great please to get a lot of your kosher food. Super friendly ambient and the owner is amazing.
I always love looking around at this place and sometimes buy stuff.
This grocery store has such an eclectic selection of kosher items. There were some very helpful young men there, I believe their names were Sam and Gizmo. They helped me find what I needed: date syrup and Dr Brown's.
Not much prepared food, unfortunately. Lots of room for storage which could easily be a kitchen for out of towners who would have benefitted from prepped items. But can't complain that there are options, I just wish I could've had more than just deli.
A friend suggested this place for lunch before a meeting around the corner, and I really didn't know what to expect. There probably aren't many places in Houston where you can get Israeli grocery products like those that can be found here. I told the guy behind the counter that I trusted his judgment on what I should eat and he made me a spicy tuna melt from the new menu that wasn't even posted up yet. It was surprisingly good. It was probably one of the best tuna melts I've ever had. I really enjoyed that it was both spicy and served on a lightly toasted bagel. While this probably won't become a regular place for me since it's not an area I'm regularly in, I'm really glad I got to try it out. I would encourage anyone in the area to give this place a try, especially when looking for some healthier food options or just unique products.
Great for Kosher food, great for Kosher snacks, great selection of candy, chocolate, cookies, cheese. There is a selection of frozens. Some of the cakes look fantastic. I also appreciate that they have last minute things you may need. Not enough candles for Chanukah? They got em' Forgot Hamantaschen for Purim? They got em' Need a Netilat Yadayim cup? They got em' Havdallah Candles? They got em' They've been a phenomenal resource for living as Kosher as we can, and for being prepared for Chagim.
Huge selection of Israeli products, and they are getting bigger every time! A bit pricey. The owner and Abraham were so nice with helping to find everything and getting the groceries to my car.
I have been looking for Israeli grocery store and google never gave me this option I found out about it from one of my favorite store down the street and Harova did not disappoint. It looks like they are still moving in and I live across town so I will be stopping by when I am in the area.
